GrayCat Education Foundation was formed in 2007 for the purpose of improving the quality of healthcare through the promotion of professional growth in the provider and through the support of nursing research. New discoveries in healthcare, new legislation and regulations create an unrelenting, constant process of change. To respond effectively to the demands of change, the healthcare professional must stay current and continue to grow and develop as a professional.

We  believe there must be a scientific basis for clinical instruction and all of our programs are evidence based and supported by the latest healthcare research.  The Foundation is also dedicated to facilitating and supporting nursing research.  We wish to partially or fully fund nursing clinical investigations. 

We believe continuing education assists the  individual practitioners in the acquisition of knowledge, the extension of professional responsibilities, the expansion of interpersonal skills, and the improvement of problem solving approaches to professional practice. 

We believe that Individuals are responsible for their own learning needs and should participate in the strategies to meet their self-identified needs. As providers of continuing education we are committed to involving our participants in the learning process from the initial stages of planning through the evaluation of organized seminars and online courses.
